Compliance Analyst
Location: Southampton
Job Type: Full-time (35 hours per week), hybrid working.
Salary: Circa £34k – £37k plus benefits
Ferox Partners are excited to be working with an established professional services organisation, to recruit a Compliance Analyst. This role is responsible for supporting client onboarding and customer due diligence (CDD) processes, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations.
The successful candidate will work closely with legal and business professionals to help meet regulatory obligations through effective due diligence, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the onboarding of new clients and matters, identifying clients, beneficial owners, and controllers where applicable.
- Determine and obtain the appropriate customer due diligence documentation required to meet regulatory obligations.
- Review existing due diligence records to ensure information remains accurate, relevant, and up to date.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business through clear and professional communication.
- Conduct open source and database screening and intelligence searches, taking appropriate action in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Update compliance and data management systems accurately to support ongoing sanctions and risk screening.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and central databases used for storing due diligence documentation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or Compliance role.
- Good understanding of AML and CTF legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week with a 60-minute lunch break.
Available working patterns:
- 10:00am to 6:00pm, or
- 11:00am to 7:00pm
