C++ Software Developer
I’m working with a client on the Isle of Wight who is looking for an experienced C++ Software Developer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge Microsoft Windows-based information systems and applications.
The Role:
- Design, develop, and implement complex software components.
- Work closely with project managers to deliver high-quality products.
- Write and review technical specifications and design documents.
- Develop automated unit tests and support software issue resolution.
- Lead technical teams and mentor junior developers.
- Optimize technology use and contribute to project estimates and architecture.
What We’re Looking For:
- Significant experience in C++ software development.
- Strong understanding of the full software development cycle.
- Experience with software testing, release management, and maintenance.
- Ability to lead teams and mentor developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft IDE, DevOps, TFS, and .NET.
- Familiarity with C++ 2017, SQL databases, JSON, and cloud technologies.
- Awareness of software development trends and best practices.
