Ferox Partners is working exclusively with a leading UK-based technology business at the forefront of integrated communication and security solutions. With a portfolio of high-profile clients across public infrastructure, iconic venues, and major events, they are continuing to grow and are now looking to bring in a skilled PA / VA / AV Engineer to join their talented team.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and support of innovative audio-visual and voice evacuation systems. If you’re a qualified electrician with strong AV/ VA or PA installation experience – especially in 100V line systems – and enjoy working across high-profile projects in a collaborative environment, this could be the ideal next move for you.
Responsibilities
- Lead small installation teams and supervise sub-contractors on-site
- Interpret technical schematics and construction drawings
- Carry out first fix and cable routing to internal standards
- Install and test electrical circuits (where qualified)
- Rack building, AV equipment setup, termination, and testing
- Support control systems (e.g. Crestron, AMX, RTI) – training available
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults efficiently
- Ensure project milestones are hit and work is completed to spec
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in AV, PA/VA systems, and 100V line systems would be desirable
- Experience working on live construction sites
- Proficient in AV/ VA/ PA installation, rack building, structured cabling, and termination
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Advantageous: Knowledge of AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, etc.)
- Team leadership and a high standard of workmanship
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the UK
Requirements
- Proven AV/ VA/ PA installation or engineering background
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends (with TOIL/overtime)
- Ideally DBS checked (or willing to undergo one)
