Accounts Payable Administrator 

  • Location: Southampton
  • Hours: 35 hours a week, 12 month fixed term contract, hybrid working, full time
  • Salary : Up to £32k

Ferox Partners are working with an established, international business, to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrator on a fixed term contract basis. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Finance Admin / Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger experience to join a busy Finance team and develop your all round accounting skills. 

The Role

You will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the Finance team and wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier payments accurately and on time
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on invoice and payment queries
  • Post financial transactions and perform supplier, bank, and ledger reconciliations
  • Monitor and manage aged ledger items
  • Maintain accurate financial records, filings, and master data
  • Support month end processes and internal reporting
  • Assist with employee expenses and internal billing queries

About You

  • Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger / Finance Administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and meets deadlines
  • IT savvy – Microsoft Office and ERP systems 
  • Available on a maximum of 4 weeks notice and committed to the duration of the contract
