Reports to: Finance Director

Salary: Circa £60k – £70k (depending on experience) plus benefits

Role Overview

Ferox Partners are excited to be working with well known business, based in Southampton, to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager on a contract basis.

You will be responsible for leading and taking ownership of the Accounts Payable function during a period of operational optimisation. This is a hands on and strategic role, encompassing leadership, control and transformation to a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and stabilise the Accounts Payable team
Act as a senior escalation point for complex issues
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, expenses and payment cycles
Assess current processes and drive practical improvements

Candidate Profile

Essential

Proven experience of managing an Accounts Payable team, ideally within a complex, multi-entity environment
Demonstratable experience of process improvements
A confident, credible and natural problem solver with excellent communication skills
Delivery focused and systems savvy

Salary and Benefits:

Salary between £60,000 to £70,000 (depending on experience)
