Commercial Insurance Executive – Cardiff

Full-time | Permanent | Salary: Very competitive – can be discussed on application as our client will consider candidates with varying levels of insurance experience or those with a strong track record in sales or account handling.

Ferox Partners are working with a leading global insurance broker to recruit a Commercial Insurance Executive for their growing Cardiff team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, relationship-focused professional who enjoys managing an existing book, alongside winning new business, and developing long-term client partnerships within the commercial insurance space.

The Role

As a Commercial Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in driving growth across the business. You’ll be responsible for building relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership to expand the commercial client portfolio covering businesses from SMEs through to larger organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Winning new business and growing a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with B2B clients
  • Attending networking events, client meetings, and community engagement activities
  • Understanding client needs and providing consultative advice on insurance solutions
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts and deliver added value
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve business objectives

About You

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance
  • A strong track record in business development and client relationship management
  • Confident, consultative approach with excellent listening and questioning skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and commercially aware
  • Enjoys networking and building a presence in the local market
  • Keen to develop professionally, including working towards industry qualifications
