Compliance Manager, based in Southampton with hybrid working
Ferox Partners are excited to be working with an established services business in Southampton, to recruit a Compliance Manager. This role will focus on supporting a regulated corporate services business, operating within an offshore jurisdiction.
You will play a key role in developing, implementing and overseeing a robust compliance framework, ensuring that the business meets all regulatory and financial crime obligations.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and ongoing management of the organisation’s compliance and risk frameworks
- Oversee and deliver the Compliance Monitoring Plan, including periodic testing and reviews
- Ensure compliance with all relevant AML, CTF, sanctions, and regulatory requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, including managing remediation actions
- Review and assess suspicious activity reports (SARs) and determine appropriate escalation
- Prepare and deliver management information (MI) and board-level reports
About you:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a compliance role within a regulated, financial or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of financial crime regulations, including AML and sanctions frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound, risk based decisions
- Degree in a relevant discipline and/or professional compliance qualification (e.g. ICA Diploma or equivalent)
