This isn’t a role where you’ll inherit a book and sit behind a desk.

Our client is looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, understands commercial insurance inside and out, and wants to become a trusted adviser to local businesses.

You’ll manage an established portfolio looking after clients from initial conversations through to renewals, whilst also developing new business through networking and relationship building.

The Role

As a Commercial Account Executive you’ll become the trusted adviser for a varied portfolio of commercial clients, handling the complete client journey from acquisition through to renewals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing an established commercial book of business
• Delivering exceptional advice across a broad range of commercial insurance products
• Handling renewals, MTAs and client queries
• Building long-term client relationships through outstanding service
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
• Generating new business through networking, referrals and community engagement
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve branch growth objectives

This is a true Account Executive role where relationship management is every bit as important as winning new business.

About You

We’re looking for someone who already has solid Commercial Insurance experience and enjoys building lasting client relationships.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous Commercial Insurance Account Executive or Account Handler experience
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial insurance products
• Experience managing commercial client portfolios
• Confidence dealing with business owners and company directors
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach to networking and business development
• The ability to deliver first-class customer service whilst identifying opportunities to grow accounts
