Ferox Partners are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected independent insurance brokerage with an excellent reputation for looking after both its clients and its people. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to welcome an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to their successful team.

This isn’t a transactional role. It’s about becoming a trusted adviser to your clients, understanding their businesses and building long-term relationships that genuinely make a difference.

The Role

You’ll inherit and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, ranging from established SMEs through to larger corporate businesses, providing expert advice and first-class service throughout the policy lifecycle.

You’ll be working across a wide range of commercial insurance products including:

• Property
• Liability
• Motor Fleet
• Professional Indemnity
• Cyber
• And other commercial risks

No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives on building lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing your own portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Building trusted relationships with company directors and business owners.
• Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy amendments.
• Negotiating with insurers to secure the best outcomes for your clients.
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and improve retention.
• Delivering a professional, proactive and consultative service at every stage.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations.

We’re Looking For…

You’ll already be an established Commercial Insurance professional who enjoys dealing with people as much as policies.

Ideally you’ll have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ Commercial Insurance experience.
• Experience managing a broad portfolio of commercial clients.
• The confidence and credibility to engage with senior decision-makers, business owners and directors.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• A professional, polished and client-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• A genuine desire to develop your career within a growing brokerage.
