Accountant – Client Portfolio Specialist

Ferox Partners are working with a growing Accountancy practice, to recruit a part qualified / newly qualified Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant, who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering high quality accounting and tax services, and supporting the development of colleagues.
You will manage a diverse portfolio of business clients, providing compliance services, tax guidance, and business support while helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients.
- Prepare and submit statutory accounts and tax returns.
- Review bookkeeping records and prepare VAT and CIS returns where required.
- Deliver business advisory support, including cashflow, budgeting, and pricing guidance.
- Support the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into the business.
About You:
- Part Qualified or newly qualified accountant with membership of a recognised professional body.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Proven experience preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Strong knowledge of UK taxation and accounting compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero
