Credit Controller – Fixed Term Contract 9-12 Months
Location: Winchester
Salary: Up to £32k
Working pattern: 3 days office based 2 days WHF with flexible working
Ferox Partners is working with a global market leader to find a skilled Credit Controller for their Winchester office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, collaborative finance team during a period of rapid growth.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll take full ownership of the credit control process—managing debt collection, assessing credit risk, and supporting billing and cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
Chase outstanding payments and manage overdue accounts
Assess client and sub-consultant credit risk
Resolve invoice queries and support legal recovery where needed
Ensure timely billing and reduce WIP
Onboard sub-consultants and manage compliance
Drive process improvements and maintain credit control systems
Provide support with invoicing and ad hoc finance tasks
What You’ll Need
Experience in credit control -1 year +
Strong communication and organisational skills
Attention to detail and analytical mindset
Confident in Excel and finance systems
