Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (Hybrid/Office-Based)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 plus benefits (28 days holiday, Medicash, pension, parking)

Ferox Partners are excited to be partnering with a thriving, fast growing professional services company, to recruit a highly organised and proactive HR Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some HR experience, who is looking to develop their career within a fast paced environment. As the organisation continues to grow, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations and helping to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

The Role

As HR Assistant, you will support the day to day administration and operation of the HR function, ensuring processes run smoothly, records remain accurate, and employees receive excellent support throughout their employment journey.

Working closely with senior HR colleagues, you will gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle while developing your skills and knowledge within a busy and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR administration queries.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, from offer stage through to new starter setup.
  • Maintain HR systems, employee records, and documentation. 
  • Manage and respond to HR inbox enquiries, escalating where appropriate. 
  • Support recruitment administration, including interview coordination and communication with hiring managers. 
  • Monitor probation reviews and key HR deadlines. 
  • Record absence data and maintain accurate employee records. 
  • Assist with HR compliance, reporting, audits, and governance activities. 

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an HR administration or HR assistant role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills. 
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Professional, proactive, and reliable approach.
