Project Manager – Commercial construction
Location: Remote- Covering the Midlands and South including London
Salary: £60k-75k base + car or car allowance and more
Type: Permanent, Full-Time, remote with onsite UK travel

With a strong reputation for quality, safety, and delivery excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key construction projects from inception to completion.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager to take ownership of high-profile build projects, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Based in the South, you’ll coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver first-class results while managing stakeholder communication, cost control, and site execution.

Project Planning & Delivery:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, including scoping, scheduling, and milestone tracking to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
Budget & Cost Control:
Manage project budgets, control costs, and prevent overruns through close financial oversight.
Team & Subcontractor Management:
Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, assigning tasks, managing workloads, and ensuring site standards, safety, and schedules are maintained.
Procurement & Logistics:
Liaise with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources aligned with project timelines.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Conduct inspections and enforce quality control procedures, ensuring all works meet technical, regulatory, and company standards.
Health & Safety Leadership:
Champion site safety through audits, training, and compliance with RAMS and safety protocols.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, providing regular updates, resolving issues, and maintaining clear project documentation.
Project Handover:
Oversee final inspections, defect rectification, and ensure all close-out documentation is complete and contractual obligations are met.
Deliver 95% of project milestones on time
Maintain project costs within 3% of approved budget
Achieve <2% defect rate at handover
Conduct weekly quality inspections with 100% issue resolution
Maintain zero lost-time incidents through regular safety audits
Provide weekly client updates and resolve 95% of stakeholder concerns within 48 hours
Reduce subcontractor delays by 20% and implement performance evaluation systems
You must have: Proven experience managing construction, M&E or similar projects from start to finish
A Strong understanding of project planning, subcontractor coordination, and risk control
/you must be able to understand and manage the projects finances, with support from head office is essential
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong reporting, organisational, and client-facing capabilities
Competent in producing progress reports, site documentation, and quality assurance protocols
£60k- £75k base dependent on experience, plus car or car allowance
